This Privacy Policy explains how Whizz People (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your information when you use the Sitemap Last-Modified Scanner (the “Service”).

• Scan input: the website URL you submit to be scanned.
• Technical metadata: timestamp of the scan (UTC), your browser’s user agent, and IP address where available. If provided by the client, we also store your time zone and offset to render a local timestamp.
• Operational logs: non-personal status messages (e.g. “robots.txt found”, “sitemap parsed”).

How we use your information

• To operate the Service (perform scans and return results).
• To monitor, troubleshoot, and improve reliability and performance.
• To prevent abuse and keep the Service secure.

Legal bases (UK GDPR)

We process the above information under legitimate interests to operate and secure the Service. Where non-essential cookies are used, we rely on consent (see Cookies Policy).

Retention

Scan records (URL, timestamps, basic metadata) are typically retained for up to 180 days, unless a longer period is required for security or legal reasons.

• Hosting & delivery: Vercel, Inc. (app hosting).
• Database: MongoDB Atlas (data storage).

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside the UK/EEA by our service providers. We rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
